AYYAM (Alumni Meet) 2026
The Faculty of Law, Tantia University marked its 10-year milestone with the “Aayam” program held in the university auditorium. The event began with a ceremonial lamp lighting by Chief Guest District and Sessions Judge Ravinder Kumar, Vice Chairperson Dr. Mohit Tantia, Executive Director Dr. K.S. Sukhdev, CA Nishit Agrawal, and Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) M.M. Saxena.
Addressing the gathering, District and Sessions Judge Ravinder Kumar emphasized the importance of dedication, discipline, and hard work in the legal profession, encouraging students to choose between advocacy and judicial services and identify their areas of interest. Dean Dr. Saurabh Garg highlighted the faculty’s journey since its inception under former Dean Dr. V.K. Bakshi, noting its expansion into LL.B., LL.M., and PhD programs, with graduates serving in India and abroad. Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) M.M. Saxena described law as a demanding profession requiring continuous learning.
Distinguished individuals, including former faculty member Vijay Kanwar; former Board of Studies member and Government Law College Principal Dr. V.N. Singh; DAV Law College Principal Dr. Kuldeep Sihag; NM Law College’s Dr. K.B. Ojha; Dr. Brijesh Kumar Agrawal; Rajasthan University’s Dr. Rajeev Soni; and alumnus Devendra Singh Shekhawat, were honored.
Students Hiteshi, Nadini, and Ritika Arora were felicitated for being semifinalists at the Jagannath Bajaj Moot Court at RNB University, Bikaner. The program also featured a video presentation of the faculty’s journey, experience sharing by students, and the release of the commemorative magazine “Aayam.” The event was anchored by Assistant Professor Anamika Khurana.
